Bollcoin reported on October 20 that robotics AI company Dream Labs announced the completion of a $90 million seed round, with investors including B Capital, Kindred Ventures, A.Capital, SV Angel and Wing VC. Founded in 2026 by the former head of NVIDIA's GR00T robotics research team, the company will use the funds primarily for compute investment to expand the tasks its models support, the range of robots and its user base. Dream Labs also launched the Dream API, which can convert robot camera footage and natural language instructions into motion control commands. The company said its Dream-1 model learns through video and can adapt to robots from different manufacturers, and it has already partnered with more than 20 hardware partners to support tabletop tasks such as object grasping, placement and folding clothes.
