Bollcoin, October 20 — Nvidia-backed AI cloud computing company Nscale is in talks with Anthropic to sell compute capacity in a deal that could be worth about $45 billion, according to Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter. Under the plan, Nscale would build a second facility at its Monarch data center campus in West Virginia, U.S., providing 460 megawatts of compute using Nvidia Vera Rubin chips, and Anthropic would also hold a right of first refusal on a third facility. The people said the deal could be finalized in the coming days, though details could still change. According to Nscale's IPO filing, Anthropic previously signed an infrastructure agreement with the company worth about $44.6 billion.
