The whale then moved 20 million USDC into Hyperliquid to go long on crude oil. Its crude oil long position is currently worth about $22.4 million, including CL (WTI crude oil) and BRENTOIL (Brent crude oil) contracts, and it is still adding to the position. The whale had previously borrowed 30 million USDS in a loop on Spark in early June, using leverage to buy 18,212 ETH at an average price of $1,647.
