Bollcoin, October 23: The Ethereum Foundation announced that the "Glamsterdam" upgrade, originally scheduled for October 27 (Epoch 132,352) on the Hoodi testnet, has been postponed to allow further study of the interaction effects between EIP-8037 and mainnet smart contracts. No new activation date has been set yet. The postponement cancels the previously planned "Amsterdam" execution layer activation and "Gloas" consensus layer activation. Meanwhile, the plan to raise Hoodi's gas limit to 200 million at the same epoch has also been canceled. This move only withdraws the configuration for the future upgrade and will not roll back Hoodi's on-chain history.
