QCP Capital: AI Infrastructure Credit Stress Spreads and Drags Down Crypto Market

Bollcoin, October 23: QCP Capital said in a post that credit stress in the AI infrastructure sector is spreading, with CoreWeave bond yields to maturity rising to 15%, sparking market concerns over financing costs and profitability across the neocloud industry and spilling over into equities and crypto markets. Meanwhile, Tesla cut its forward capital expenditure guidance, deepening market worries about the return on AI investment in the tech sector. With risk aversion rising, investors turned to US Treasuries, pushing long-term yields lower. Fed policy expectations also shifted: October rate-hike expectations are now close to zero, while market confidence in a December rate cut has weakened somewhat. QCP Capital noted that Bitcoin is still largely following equities lower and has yet to show independent price discovery.
