Bollcoin, October 24 — According to a U.S. Department of Justice announcement, a Chinese national has been extradited for alleged involvement in a cryptocurrency fraud scheme that targeted U.S. citizens and involved millions of dollars. The man made his first court appearance today after being extradited from the Netherlands to the United States, and is charged with participating in an international cryptocurrency investment fraud conspiracy. The scheme was carried out through scam compounds located in Cambodia, and the victims include 174 identified U.S. citizens. The man has been ordered detained; his arraignment is scheduled for November 30 in the federal district court in downtown Los Angeles.
