Bollcoin, October 28 — Bankless has published an article discussing the controversy over Zcash's development funding surplus, noting that the Zcash development funding program's pool keeps growing, with net funding currently estimated at about $125 million, far exceeding current spending needs. Zcash co-founder and current Tachyon lead Sean Bowe has drafted a proposal recommending that a future network upgrade terminate the 8% block reward currently allocated to ZCG. Four proposals on the development funding mechanism have now emerged in the community, covering ending ZCG grants, scrapping the entire development fund allocation mechanism, or gradually reducing the allocation ratio to zero.
