papertrade temporarily disables off-contract PAPER token transfers, will adjust fees and token issuance mechanism
Bollcoin reported on October 20 that papertrade announced it will temporarily not open off-contract transfers of the PAPER token. The reason is that external PAPER perpetual contracts could be used to short the pool's solvency, lowering the threshold for manipulation attacks. The protocol will also adjust fees: positions closed within 6bps of the entry price during primary trading sessions and within 10bps during non-primary trading sessions will be subject to new rates, with the impact on bot strategies roughly 15 times that on ordinary traders. Token issuance will change to minting approximately 0.1% of supply for every $1 million in losses. This upgrade will also introduce builder codes in whitelist form, taking effect 24 hours after entering the timelock.
