Bollcoin, October 23: The UAE led law enforcement agencies from 30 countries, Interpol, the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) and 13 private-sector organizations including Crypto.com, Mastercard and Meta in a cross-border anti-fraud operation codenamed "Confrontation Ghost" from July 1 to September 30, aimed at dismantling the criminal networks behind cross-border digital scams. The operation identified more than $39 billion in scam-related funds (involving both fiat currency and cryptocurrency); participating countries, jurisdictions and private-sector partners are now working together to recover these assets.
