Bollcoin, October 23 — Utexo, which is backed by Tether, has opened early access to Utexo Mint, allowing professional operators to test a cross-chain version of USDT on the Bitcoin network on Bitcoin Signet (the Bitcoin testnet), with the official launch date set for November 28. In the Bitcoin Signet sandbox environment, operators can test minting, private transfers and redemption. Utexo will also provide tools for managing cross-network liquidity and for exchanging fiat currency for Utexo's cross-chain version of USDT. Previously, Utexo, backed by Tether, planned to issue USDT on the Bitcoin network this month, with support for private transfers and direct exchange with BTC.
