Bollcoin, October 23: The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) released its fiscal year 2027 examination priorities on October 23, focusing on areas including investment advisers' fiduciary duty, retail investor protection, private funds and private credit, anti-money laundering, cybersecurity and customer information protection. Among these, the SEC will focus on tokenization and the evolution of related market infrastructure, as well as the impact of advanced technologies such as superintelligence on market operations, compliance management, fraud prevention and investor protection. The SEC said the priorities are not a complete list of examination matters for the new fiscal year; the examination division will dynamically adjust its examination focus based on market changes, investor concerns, emerging technologies and the development of new products and services, and will require regulated entities to maintain compliance systems commensurate with their own business risks.
