Bollcoin reported on October 19, citing CoinDesk, that OKXICE, a tokenized stock trading platform jointly established by OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, disclosed in an announcement released on October 15 that nine US-listed companies have opposed trading of their stocks on the platform, including Broadcom, Verizon, UnitedHealth, AppLovin, Applied Digital, Rocket Lab, CoreWeave, Applied Optoelectronics, and Cerebras Systems, which had previously chosen to withdraw. The announcement did not state the reasons for the opposition. In addition, Nasdaq said it would choose not to have its own stock tokenized under the framework.
