Bollcoin reported on October 22, citing CoinDesk, that Bybit CEO Ben Zhou said that when Bybit enters the US, it will partner with companies that already have a local customer base to compete with companies like Robinhood, citing as an example that it may consider brokers such as Interactive Brokers that have not yet entered the crypto business. Ben Zhou said that applying for licenses state by state in the US would take 2 to 3 years, and it would be better to wait for the Clarity Act to pass, or for the SEC to implement unified federal-level regulation. He also said that no global exchange dominates the UK market, and Bybit is studying entering the UK, with the location of its London office yet to be decided. Bybit is the second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, with more than 80 million registered users worldwide, covering more than 180 countries and regions.
