Bollcoin, October 21 — According to CoinDesk, Andrew Cuomo, co-chair of OKX-ICE — the joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), parent company of the New York Stock Exchange — and former governor of New York, said that companies opposing the tokenized trading of their stocks on the platform is a "very natural reaction," because the model already allows companies to opt in or opt out on their own. A Monday announcement showed that 16 companies have raised objections. The newly added opponents include Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Caterpillar, McDonald's and Western Digital, following earlier objections from companies such as Broadcom, Verizon and UnitedHealth. Cuomo said the SEC's "innovation exemption" framework caps the number of participating companies and trading volume, and is essentially a sandbox experiment.
