Bollcoin, October 23 – According to CoinDesk, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal is investigating payments Tether made to Nxum Group, the consulting firm of former White House crypto policy adviser Bo Hines. While Hines was still advising the Trump administration on stablecoin-related policy, his firm received large consulting fees from Tether. After leaving his post, Hines became head of Tether's U.S. business. On Thursday, Blumenthal sent letters to Tether and Nxum, calling the arrangement "highly unusual," saying it raises serious ethical and legal concerns, and demanding details of the transactions.
