Bollcoin, October 28: According to Salus monitoring, the CryptoBilis attacker deposited another 1,200 ETH, worth approximately $2.78 million, into Tornado Cash on October 27, 18 days after the large-scale wallet theft. On October 11, Ledger confirmed that an unauthorized hardware implant was present in a victim's device. The attacker used wallet 0x468b…2a4e to send 600.1 ETH to each of two new wallets, which then deposited in parallel, completing 12 deposits of 100 ETH each between 14:24:59 and 14:27:23 UTC. The October 9 theft affected users who bought Ledger devices through Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis; Bitquery estimates losses of about $102 million across multiple chains.
