Bollcoin, October 22 - The relevant responsible official of the National Development and Reform Commission answered reporters' questions regarding the Measures for the Administration of Outbound Investment. The Measures (2017) mainly targeted outbound investment by domestic enterprises and non-enterprise organizations. In recent years, the subjects of outbound investment have become more diverse and its forms more varied. Given that the State Council's Regulations on Outbound Investment defined the connotation and extension of outbound investment and, keeping pace with the times, clarified that investors include domestic enterprises, other organizations, and individual residents, the new measures correspondingly reaffirm that investors include domestic enterprises, other organizations, and individual residents, further implementing the status of various types of investors as subjects of outbound investment, improving service and protection measures, and supporting investors in carrying out outbound investment activities in accordance with market principles. At the same time, the new measures are aligned with the existing system, and investors can continue to invest in overseas financial markets through channels such as Qualified Domestic Institutional Investors, Stock Connect, and Cross-boundary Wealth Management Connect.
