Bollcoin reported on October 19 that ILITY announced on X on October 17 that a security incident had occurred on the ILITY Network, and it has temporarily shut down the ILITY cross-chain bridge. The project is investigating in cooperation with law enforcement, cryptography forensics experts and investors, and has not yet disclosed the amount of losses or details of the attack. On-chain analyst Specter said he observed a wallet moving about 35,700 ZEC (worth about $41 million at the time) out of a privacy pool, which was then transferred to the Bitcoin and Ethereum networks via NEAR Intents and multiple addresses. His tracking suggests the relevant addresses are connected to the ILITY cross-chain bridge, and he said about 4.1 million ILY tokens flowed out of the bridge. Due to Zcash's privacy features, whether this ZEC is stolen funds and its exact relationship to the ILITY incident have not yet been confirmed.
