Bollcoin, October 25: According to monitoring by Salus, Tether has blacklisted 9 addresses related to the CoinDCX security incident, freezing 2,212,850.3 USDT. The investigation began with an anomalous transfer of roughly 15.99 million USDT spotted by investigator Darcy. CoinDCX co-founder Sumit Gupta initially claimed there was no security breach. Salus then raised doubts based on transfers from "proof-of-reserves" addresses and the TRX distribution pattern, which prompted a response from the parties involved and provided Tether with verifiable on-chain evidence that allowed it to take action.
